Lead Bar & Lead waiting staff
Live in positions available at Raasay House - a family business based in the newly renovated historic clan mansion on the unique Isle of Raasay (off the Isle of Skye). We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic people to join our core seasonal team. Could this be you?
We need friendly, experienced, customer-focused staff who enjoy waiting on guests.
You will be responsible for running the service in our Bar restaurant and dining room.
The Lead Waiter/Waitress must be experienced in all aspects of waiting: Different table set-ups, liaising with kitchen staff, leading junior staff, attention to customer concerns and have an eye for the customer’s first impressions.
The Bar Pearson must have experience in a hotel style bar , ordering stock, looking after all aspects of the bar including serving food & clearing tables, and tilling up.
All staff must be:
Organised, tidy and reliable
Strong on hospitality skills
Excellent English speakers
Experienced in your area of work
Able to initiate, prioritise and implement ideas
Excellent in a team

We are a family business who, for the last 25 years, has been providing a unique island experience for staff and visitors to the Isle of Raasay off the Isle of Skye. We offer amazing activities, stunning scenery and fantastic food. Our visitors range from groups of adults or children, to individuals and families. We are looking for dynamic, creative, enthusiastic and self motivated individuals to join our small team. Enthusiasm, drive and determination are other required qualities as is assertiveness and possession of a passionate personality and a scene of humour!
Hours are over five or six days a week, and on statutory holidays. Shared accommodation in small cottages is available, with opportunities to join sailing, climbing, kayaking, canoeing, archery, coasteering and mountain biking.
Start dates vary depending on position, from now to the 1st of July.
